Some of these photoshoots were on location where I hauled a very curated kit of gear into a bar or restaurant and, usually on a time crunch, work through a shot list before they open for service. Or during service and while trying to take up the least amount of room as possible in a busy restaurant where if you’re not on the move, you are in the way.
Some of these photoshoots were done in my studio where we had the luxury of time and focus, could control every aspect of the props, surfaces, light, and environment to build an entire story in a picture where nothing existed before.
I love both of these scenarios. Each one has its own ease and challenges. I appreciate having variety in my work, and am looking forward to sharing more of the food projects I currently have in the works!
