Wall Street Journal Assignment: Lifestyle & Interiors Photography Documenting Wellness and Home Life at Emily Kwan's Telegraph Hill Residence in San Francisco
I photographed this stunning Telegraph Hill home designed by Edmonds Lee Architects for the Wall Street Journal. The project documents how homeowner Emily Kwan transformed a narrow San Francisco lot into a wellness-focused sanctuary following her breast cancer recovery.
My interiors and portrait photography captures the intentional design strategy: stacked floor plans that balance privacy with connection, indoor-outdoor flow on every level, and spaces that prioritize calm and family gathering.
From the outdoor spaces you can hear the sea lions at Fisherman's Wharf and the Telegraph Hill flock of parrots flying overhead. It's the kind of space that feels like a sanctuary and makes you want to slow down and stay awhile.
