This image is part of a series that I’m working on called Exquisite Decay that’s all about finding beauty in deteriorating objects. Exploring the boundaries of what we consider disgusting, beautiful, and the fine line between the two.
The series is coming along slowly because I have to wait for the decay to happen, and part of the project is the intention of enjoying the slow and methodical process of that. I’ve been embracing long term projects that encourage me to slow down, it’s a good counter balance to our appetite for instant gratification.
